First Week

After having a full week of classes, I'm sick. Just my luck, right? My friends have all been droning on and on about how unpleasant it'd be to get sick this early on in the year, and I ended up being the first to fall.

Maybe I'm not even sick though! Maybe it's just allergies! How am I supposed to know? Washington's weird. There was fog this morning and I about had a heart attack. I've seen fog maybe twice in my entire life, and I don't think I'm a fan.

But the workload from school isn't too bad; it's intensive, but it's really enjoyable. All of my classes are pretty much geared to fit to my program and the instructors all have loads of industry experience, and it helps tons.

Homework-wise, I have to do things like draw my own grids and learn how to write in a specific font, draw circles until I can freehand them perfectly, visit art museums, analyze films, and blah, blah, blah. It's a lot more exciting than it sounds, I assure you.

and there is nothing more satisfying than hearing all 72 people in your major talk about having the exact same classes and homework. I love small schools.

This week's film was Nosferatu. I felt I should include that, because that was the only picture I could think of throwing on this post.
