Tool!

I splurged! I went to the Tool concert in Portland last Thursday.

A bunch of the sound guys at school were talking about going to the Spokane show, but Portland was closer, cheaper, nicer, and on a more convenient day. 

Most everyone bailed, but I got to go with some boy, my roommate, and my roommate's boyfriend. My roommate had never listened to Tool before, but her boyfriend got a ticket from a friend who couldn't go anymore, and it all worked out.

It was my first time in Portland. It was really what I expected? but I enjoyed it? It was a major cultural shock compared to Seattle, but after, we found a late-night food cart and walked around with gyros for a while before going home.
