Art 101 Dump

Here's a dump of a lot of the stuff we did in my Art 101 class.

It's nice looking back on it and seeing how much I've improved.

Pretty much the first thing we ever did was spend two and a half hours trying to draw a perfect cube from observation, and that's the best part. We spent the bulk of the semester learning proper perspective, and I remember drawing that cube was just so bloody hard. Everyone was having problems with it, but now I'm looking at it almost kind of laughing because I was so proud! I thought I was so cool for being able to draw a perfect cube in two and a half hours, but now I see it, and it's still out of proportion!
One of the questions on our final was to draw a perfect cube from observation in ten minutes, even!

But I guess all of my proportions were kind of wonky in the beginning. We just did a lot of still lifes focusing on proportion and mark making.
